Royal Warrants: The mark of excellence

We are pleased to mark two centuries of continuous service to the British Royal Family, as represented by the Royal Warrants of Appointment.

The Royal Warrants—one each for Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales—are awarded to companies and individuals who have supplied goods or services to the Royal Households for at least five consecutive years.

Standing for excellence, quality and craftsmanship, strict rules govern the Royal Warrants to ensure standards are kept high. Over the past two centuries, Gieves & Hawkes has continually met these standards and is proud to hold all three Royal Warrants.

At the same time, we have always strived to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our customers through innovation, ensuring that, 200 years on, we remain at the forefront of gentlemen’s tailoring.

We were honoured to welcome Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall to No. 1 Savile Row earlier this year as they toured British companies that rely on traditional crafts. The Prince of Wales unveiled a plaque to mark 200 years of continuous service, commemorating our ongoing commitment to providing the highest levels of service and quality.
