It is produced, just like Gieves & Hawkes’ tailoring, by the most enthusiastic and skilled artisans in their field who value quality above all else. Nowhere else will you find a distillery that still grows its own barley, malts in its own traditional floor maltings and employs coopers to tend the casks and a coppersmith to maintain the stills. The entire process is in-house ensuring full control over every detail of production. With a history stretching back to the late 19th century, these tried and tested methods may take longer but the end result is fully worth the wait. The Balvenie is a truly handcrafted single malt scotch whisky.
